Steve Collis President, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer AmerisourceBergen Corporation Steve Collis is President, chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AmerisourceBergen Corporation. Mr. Collis previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for all AmerisourceBergen business units including AmerisourceBergen Drug Corporation (ABDC), AmerisourceBergen Specialty Group (ABSG), AmerisourceBergen Consulting Services (ABCS), and AmerisourceBergen Packaging Group (ABPG). Before being promoted to that position in November 2010, Mr. Collis was Executive Vice President of AmerisourceBergen and President of ABDC, the Company’s largest subsidiary with revenues over $60 billion. Over his 17 year tenure with the Company, Mr. Collis was the driving force behind growing and developing ABSG into the market-leader it is today, with $16 billion in annualized revenues. Mr. Collis first joined the Company as General Manager of its newly formed ASD Specialty Healthcare unit in 1994. Prior to joining ASD, he was a principal and General Manager of Sterling Medical in Irvine, California.   Born and educated in South Africa, Mr. Collis earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. He has completed his articles of clerkship with Price Waterhouse and received his Charter Accountancy license, the South African equivalent of Certified Public Accountant, in 1986.   Prior to emigrating to the United States, Mr. Collis was a member of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. He is an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society and other health-related charities. Back
